Erik joined Essex LLC in 2026 with a B.S. in Finance from Miami University. He follows the markets closely and enjoys the analytical side of the work, but what he likes most is the problem solving: understanding how the pieces of a client’s financial life fit together, then working through whatever situation is actually in front of them. The result is a plan that gives clients room to make confident decisions, with whatever life brings.

Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Erik now lives in Evanston, Illinois with his girlfriend and their cat. When he’s not in the office, he’s likely on a golf course, watching a movie, or playing tennis. He’s also been playing hockey since he was two.
